In observance of Independence Day, all City of Statesville offices will be closed on Friday, July 4. Below is important information regarding city service adjustments and facility hours during the holiday week:

Sanitation Schedule Adjustments (June 30 – July 4)

♦ Residential Routes: Thursday and Friday routes will be collected on Thursday, July 3. All other routes will be collected on the regularly scheduled day.

♦ Commercial Garbage Collection (roll-out toters or garbage containers): Thursday and Friday routes will be collected on Thursday, July 3. All other routes will be collected on the regularly scheduled day.

Facility Hours (July 4)

♦ The Statesville Fitness & Activity Center and Statesville Civic Center will be closed.
♦ The Statesville Leisure Pool, Bentley Community Center, and Splash Pad will be open. Visit www.statesvillenc.net/aquatics for information regarding admission and hours of operation.

Statesville ABC Store

The Statesville ABC Store will be open on July 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

City Council Meeting

The City Council will hold one regular meeting in July on Monday, July 14, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. The meeting will include a public comment session.
