Cornerstone Christian Academy held its annual Veterans Day Program on Wednesday, November 12, welcoming students, families, and community members to honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Students from kindergarten through 12th grade worked together to present a moving tribute through songs and sign language, honoring veterans from the Army, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force, and Navy.
Parents, grandparents, and family members who are veterans attended the event, filling the sanctuary for one of the school’s most meaningful and well-attended programs of the year.
“Watching our students sing and sign in honor of our veterans is always powerful,” said Renee Griffith, executive director of Cornerstone Christian Academy. “It’s a reminder that gratitude and respect for those who serve are deeply rooted in our values as a school.”
Cornerstone Christian Academy extended its thanks to all who attended and to the veterans within the school community for their service and sacrifice.
