East Iredell Elementary School celebrated meeting growth for the 2024-2025 school year on end-of-year standardized tests recently.
“This milestone is a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of our amazing staff and students,” Principal Jennifer Ribbeck said.
To celebrate the milestone, Ribbeck and her leadership team surprised teachers and staff with confetti poppers, custom Growth Mode tumblers, a cake and plenty of Crush soda.
“We absolutely crushed our growth goals,” Ribbeck told them.
“This celebration,” she said, “is more than just treats — it was a time to reflect, appreciate one another and embrace the momentum. This year’s theme is ‘Level Up,’ and our staff is definitely powering up in every way possible.”
The following are some highlights of what was accomplished:
• Increased the school’s composite score by 7 points;
• Improved its growth scale by +7.34 points; and
• Reduced office discipline referrals by 70 percent
“These results reflect the unwavering commitment of our staff and the determination of our students. We are truly building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement,” Ribbeck said.
