The Historic Sharpe House, in collaboration with Theatre Statesville, is hosting a dinner theatre. The production of Michele Lowe’s “The Smell of the Kill” will open on Friday, October 17, and run through Saturday, October 25.

Site Manager Keith Rhyne invites the community to enjoy an evening of entertaining and delicious dinner theatre. “This will be an outdoor experience and there will be our traditional dinner prior to the performance,” he said.

Artistic director and co-director Dalton Isaac is excited about the show, giving a hint to what’s in store. “Revenge is a dish best served frozen,” he said.

Co-Director Jennifer D. Grant provided some insight into the show.

“Smell of the Kill is a story that ultimately challenges traditional ideas of marriage, loyalty, and freedom,“ she shared. “It’s a story where you can laugh while reflecting on deeper truths about relationships and choices.”
