The Iredell Arts Council invites the community to attend a special Small Works Show featuring fine artist Amy Sullivan on Wednesday, November 5, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the historic Old Jail in Downtown Statesville. Admission is free.
The exhibition showcases a collection of small works of oil and wax paintings on board and paper, each piece offering a rich, textural depth that captures light, color, and emotion in miniature form.
A limited number of works will be available for purchase, with light refreshments, and an opportunity to meet the artist.
Based in North Carolina, Sullivan is known for her approachable yet sophisticated style that blends moody abstraction with timeless design sensibility. With a background in interior design, Amy has exhibited her paintings in galleries across the United States. Her work is sought after by collectors and designers alike for their ability to bring warmth and balance to any space.
The Small Works Show offers visitors a chance to experience how small-scale pieces can make a big visual and emotional impact — each work inviting quiet reflection and appreciation for the beauty of simplicity.
The Old Jail is located at 203 S. Meeting Street in Statesville.
