Iredell County Department of Social Services employees recently worked together to support organizations within our community.

On June 25, a donation drive was held to collect hygiene products that were donated to Fifth Street Ministries.

The goal of the event was to help extend opportunities that support the community partners that DSS works with on a regular basis. From providing information to referrals, to direct support and partnership opportunities, DSS works side by side with a variety of outreach partners, programs, and networks of support within the community and surrounding regions.

DSS employees hope to continue to help the community by partnering with other organizations.

“On behalf of Iredell County Department of Social Services, we would like to thank the network of community organizations that provide, serve, and support the needs of the community,” the DSS Employee Advocacy Committee said in a news release.
