Stacey Bedingfield has been hired by Iredell Health System as director of Food Service.

Stacey Bedingfield

Bedingfield has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, including team building, food safety and sanitation, and culinary arts. She earned her associate degree in culinary arts from the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and her Certification in Dietary Management from the Orlando Technical Institute in Orlando, Florida. Her new role gives her the opportunity to showcase her skills in a community health system setting.

“I am excited to utilize my extensive experience in healthcare food service to make a difference in the lives of those we serve as an inspirational and influential leader for such an outstanding team,” said Bedingfield.

She chose Iredell Health for several reasons.

“Iredell Health has an excellent reputation for being a best-in-class, high performing health system. It has a wonderful close-knit team environment that’s close to my home, allowing me to make a positive impact in my community whether it be through caring for those individuals while they are in the hospital or through community outreach,” said Bedingfield.

Leadership is excited to bring Bedingfield on board.

“She has demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation in her previous roles,” said Larry Pizzorni, assistant vice president of Ancillary Services. “We are confident that her expertise will be a valuable asset to our team and will help us continue to enhance our food service operations.”

Outside of work, Bedingfield enjoys spending time with her husband of 24 years and her two children. Her daughter attends Lenoir-Rhyne University and is double majoring in music education and theater. Her son attends East Tennessee State University and is majoring in Veterinary Medicine. They have three sweet dogs and one sassy cat, all of which are spoiled rotten. When she’s not cooking or baking, you find her attending concerts and festivals.

“I’m a foodie through and through,” said Bedingfield. “A concert or music festival with some awesome food is my happy place!”
