Mooresville Fire-Rescue, Shepherds Volunteer Fire Department and Iredell County EMS personnel were dispatched to a crash on Mt. Ulla Highway about 7:22 a.m. on Sunday.

Responding units were notified of a rollover with possible entrapment and Mooresville Rescue 1 was added to the alarm. Ladder 6 was first on the scene and confirmed an entrapment. Ladder 6 crews stretched a precautionary hose line and removed the windshield of a van that was on its side and removed the driver, who was suspended by their seatbelt. Iredell County EMS evaluated the driver.

Mr. Ulla Highway was closed until the vehicle could be removed.
