The Mooresville Police Department reported the following felony arrests:

AUGUST 1
♦ Nahjee Vontrell Armstrong, 33, of New Bern Street, Charlotte, charged with a felony weapons charge and two misdemeanor firearms offenses.

♦ Lorraine Elizabeth Lipscomb, 35, of Days Inn Road, Mooresville, charged with being a fugitive from justice.

AUGUST 2
♦ Stephen Christopher Johnson, 43, of W. Statesville Avenue, Mooresville, charged with assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor communicating threats.

♦ Christopher Darlyn Whitaker Jr., 28, of Chicago Avenue, Charlotte, charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance.

AUGUST 3
♦ Joel Christopher Kanagy, 25, of Pumpernickel Lane, Monroe, charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury on a law enforcement or probation officer.

♦ Leonard Raymond Pignatello, 61, of W. Council Street, Salisbury, charged with discharging a firearm in enclosure, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, misdemeanor assault, misdemeanor assault by pointing a gun, misdemeanor discharging a firearm in city limits, misdemeanor DWI and misdemeanor resist or delay an officer.

AUGUST 4
♦ Caden Blake Byers, 19, of Tara Lynn Court, Mooresville, charged with possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and a misdemeanor drug offense.

♦ Casey Rae Lipnick, 41, of Jameson Park Drive, Troutman, charged with obtain property by false pretenses.

AUGUST 5
♦ Scott Troy Schronce, 53, of Live Oaks Avenue, Terrell, charged with procuring for prostitution.

AUGUST 6
♦ Jennifer Blair Dion, 45, of Oran Yount Lane, Granite Falls, was served with a felony indictment.

♦ Bruce Lynn Mayberry, 70, of N. Church Street, Statesville, charged with forgery, obtain property by false pretenses and attempted obtain property by false pretenses.

AUGUST 8
♦ Terry Jackson Bennett Jr., 33, of Albemarle Road, Charlotte, charged with breaking or entering and misdemeanor injury to real property.

AUGUST 9
♦ Bret Alexander Couvell, 33, of S. Rowan Avenue, Spencer, charged with breaking or entering, larceny after breaking or entering, and misdemeanor domestic criminal trespass.

♦ Oscar Cortez Gaspar, 40, of Cliffwood Circle, Mooresville, charged with possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor drug offense.

AUGUST 10
♦ Martavious Levar Smith, 30, of Indian Paint Brush Drive, Mooresville, charged with probation violation.

♦ Laura Ximenia Thomas, 41, of Yacht Road, Mooresville, charged with larceny and misdemeanor shoplifting.

AUGUST 11
♦ Nathan Albert Rufty, 19, of Baymount Drive, Statesville, charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance and two misdemeanor drug offenses.

AUGUST 12
♦ Danyale Symone Watkins, 25, of Keysey Drive, Mooresville, charged with two counts of discharging a firearm in an enclosure, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and two misdemeanor drug offenses.

AUGUST 13
♦ Lavarius Matesse Patterson, 26, of Spruce Street, Statesville, charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, larceny after breaking or entering, attempted breaking or entering, misdemeanor resist or delay an officer, misdemeanor discharge a firearm in city limits, misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon, misdemeanor assault, misdemeanor domestic violence and misdemeanor communicating threats.
