Mac Gray Auditorium was transformed into a winter wonderland over the weekend as Statesville Dance proudly presented its 5th Annual ‘Tis The Season Christmas Show. The auditorium was filled with holiday joy, twinkling lights, and festive cheer as SDPA dancers lit up the stage with their grace, sparkle, and Christmas magic.

From high-kicking holiday classics to heartwarming seasonal favorites, each performance showcased the dedication, artistry, and passion of the dancers at Statesville Dance. Audiences were treated to sweet smiles, spirited leaps, and enough holiday pizzazz to make even the Grinch break into a groove!

The show featured a variety of festive numbers, including glittering jazz pieces, elegant ballet work, and themed character performances that had the crowd applauding long after the final bow. With costumes that shimmered like ornaments and choreography as bright as a string of Christmas lights, SDPA dancers truly sleighed the stage.

“This show is a reflection of our dancers’ incredible heart and hard work. It is a gift for us to create this show and a joy to watch them bring these holiday stories to life creating memories and traditions our community can share together,” said Haley Price, marketing manager for Statesville Dance.

Statesville Dance extended heartfelt thanks to all dancers, families, staff, volunteers, and community supporters who helped make the afternoon so spectacular. The continued support of the Statesville community allows SDPA to keep growing and sharing the joy of dance year after year.

Statesville Dance will return to the stage at Mac Gray Auditorium on February 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. for the Competition Team Showcase, where the SDPA Competition Teams will debut their 2026 season routines.
