The Pilot travel center in Troutman is ready to welcome travelers to experience its new curb-to-counter remodel, featuring a fresh look and enhanced amenities. This investment is part of Pilot’s $1 billion-plus nationwide store modernization initiative, New Horizons.
To celebrate this location’s completion, Pilot is donating $10,000 to Iredell-Statesville Schools.
“We are excited to welcome the Troutman community to our travel center to enjoy the new amenities and thoughtful upgrades,” said Shannon Stone, director of store modernization at Pilot. “Whether you need to fuel up, grab a bite to eat or get going with the best coffee on the interstate, our goal is to provide a convenient and reliable stop for every journey.”

Commitment to Community
Pilot is dedicated to showing people they matter at every turn – whether in its travel centers, on the road or beyond. Through its Miles of Good initiative, Pilot supports the communities it serves by
focusing on three key pillars: education, safety and support for veterans. As part of this ongoing
commitment, Pilot’s $10,000 donation to Iredell-Statesville Schools will increase student access to technology, provide school supplies and support Parent Engagement events with vouchers to meet students’ school needs.
“This generous donation that will allow us to further support the needs of students from each of our schools,” said Marlene Scott, director of community relations at Iredell-Statesville Schools. “We
are so thankful for Pilot’s unwavering support for education in our community.”
Too bad they didn’t do anything to improve access in and out of the place to ease the truck traffic backups.
