Sawyer Insurance continued its longtime sponsorship of Mooresville High School football and celebrated the Blue Devils’ successful 2025 season.

In partnership with the Mooresville High School Athletic Booster Club, Sawyer Insurance pledged to donate $200 for every touchdown scored by the varsity team during home games during the 2025 season, with all proceeds split equally between the MHS Athletic Booster Club and Mooresville Christian Mission.

Thanks to the Blue Devils’ high-powered offense, the team scored 27 touchdowns during its home games. As a result, Sawyer Insurance donated $2,700 each to the MHS Athletic Boosters and Mooresville Christian Mission.

“I’m a proud, lifelong Mooresville resident and a die-hard Blue Devil fan. It’s truly a privilege to give back to the school and community that have given so much to my family and my business over the years,” said Brett Sawyer, a 1988 graduate of Mooresville High School and owner of Sawyer Insurance.

The 2025 Mooresville High School Blue Devils varsity football team finished with an impressive 9–3 overall record and advanced to the third round of the NCHSAA playoffs.

Mooresville High School Athletic Booster Club President Jen Straub said the business’s support will help the boosters.

“Our club thrives because of strong community partners like Brett and Vickie Sawyer. Their generosity helps us continue supporting our student-athletes both on and off the field,” she said.
