Sheets Laundry Club, a veteran-owned and privately held manufacturer and retailer of plastic-free, ecofriendly cleaning and personal-care products, has announced plans to expand its manufacturing operation with a new facility in Statesville.
Currently headquartered in Mooresville, the Sheets Laundry Club originated in a garage in 2019. The founders gained national attention when they shared their idea for an innovative and sustainable alternative to traditional laundry detergent and cleaning supplies on the popular TV show, “Shark Tank,” in November 2021. After securing funding to launch their business on a larger scale and setting the stage for rapid growth, Sheets Laundry Club is now poised to make the next step.
Sheets Laundry Club expansion will include a capital investment of $2.2 million in property improvements and the addition of new machinery and equipment as well as the addition of up to 15 new jobs.
The Statesville City Council as well as the Iredell County Board of Commissioners approved incentives for the expansion in support of the company’s continued growth and regional impact.
