Iredell County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators are actively searching for three suspects facing criminal charges in connection with a shootout that occurred on Wall Street near Statesville on Thursday. 

Sheriff Darren Campbell identified the wanted suspects as:

Chakrisis Ramseur
Noel Alexander
Antonieo Clark

♦ Antonieo Yurome Clark, 18, of Woodlawn Drive, Statesville;

♦ Noel Ethan Alexander, 25, of Diamond Street, Statesville; and

♦ Chakrisis La’Richard Ramseur, 24, of Hill Terrace, Statesville

Deputies responded to a report of an active shooting in the 1000 block of Wall Street on Thursday, according to an ICSO news release.

According to reports, suspects in a black vehicle who had been involved in a road rage incident were shooting at a residence on Wall Street, the sheriff said.

Deputies quickly arrived on the scene, located the suspect vehicle, and established a perimeter with the assistance of other law enforcement agencies, according to the news release. ICSO canines and drones were deployed in the search.

Detectives and crime scene Investigators arrived at the scene and began collecting evidence and conducting interviews.

During the investigation, detectives learned that the shooting stemmed from a disagreement between two groups of people at a local job fair.

Two vehicles were seen on a surveillance video leaving the job fair, Campbell said. Shots were fired from one vehicle at the other as it drove toward Wall Street, according to the news release, and once on Wall Street the victims returned fire. The suspects then fled on foot.

Detectives were able to obtain several witness statements and evidence at the scene to identify the three suspects in the vehicle as Clark, Alexander and Ramseur, the sheriff said.

Multiple felony arrest warrants have been obtained for Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling for Clark, Alexander, and Ramseur.

Deputies and detectives have searched several locations and continue searching for the suspects, Campbell said.

Sheriff Campbell said the cooperating of other agencies has been critical to the investigation.

“I would like to thank the North Carolina Highway Patrol and the Statesville Police Department for all their help in this investigation,” he said. “In addition to that, I want to thank the community members who cooperated with our deputies and investigators, furthering this investigation. I also want to acknowledge the hard work performed by our deputies and detectives who quickly gathered vital evidence, interviewed witnesses, and obtained the active arrest warrants for these suspects.”

According to the ICSO, all three suspects have prior charges.

Clark has a pending charge of Felony Conspire to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, 

Alexander’s criminal history includes 12 Counts of Felony Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, and Misdemeanor Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Assault. Pending charges include two counts of Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill.

Ramseur’s past charges include Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, Misdemeanor Communicating Threats and Misdemeanor Carrying a Concealed Gun. Pending charges include two counts of Felony Carrying a Concealed Gun, andFelony Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction.
