Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell announced the arrests of 19 individuals who face charges as a result of ongoing efforts to disrupt the flow of illegal narcotics in Iredell County.

These individuals sold drugs directly to undercover ICSO narcotics investigators, according to an ICSO news release.

This investigation, which targeted repeat offenders in an effort to dismantle criminal networks, utilized an array of resources, ranging from undercover operations and patrol units to specialized investigative teams and intelligence analysts, Campbell said.

The investigation reflects the ICSO’s commitment to protecting Iredell County families, he explained.

“Drug-related crimes don’t exist in a vacuum. They often spark a chain reaction that leads to thefts, assaults, and other violent acts,” Campbell said. “By aggressively pursuing those who distribute these illegal substances, especially repeat offenders, we are striking at the heart of the problem and making our neighborhoods safer for everyone.”

The Sheriff’s Office encourages the public to stay involved in the fight against drugs. If you have information regarding illegal drug activity or the whereabouts of the wanted individuals, you can submit a tip through the Iredell Sheriff App.
