Two men wanted in connection with a shootout that occurred on Wall Street near Statesville on May 29 were behind bars on Tuesday after being taken into custody by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.

Chakrisis Larichard Ramseur, 24, of Hill Terrace, Statesville, and Antonieo Yurome Clark, 18, of Woodline Drive, Statesville, were both arrested on Monday, according to a social media post by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.

Ramseur and Clark each face nearly two dozen criminal charges, including 11 charges of assault with intent to kill. Ramseur and Clark are both being held at the Iredell County Detention Center. Ramseur’s bond was set at $100,000, and Clark’s bond was $450,000.

A third suspect, identified by the ICSO as Noel Ethan Alexander, 25, of Diamond Street, Statesville, also faces charges. He has not been apprehended.  Anyone with information on Alexander’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3100 or call 911.

The shootout occurred after a road rage incident, which stemmed from a disagreement between two groups of people at a local job fair, according to the ICSO.

No injuries were reported.
