Special to IFN
The Statesville Police Department is preparing to kick off the 2025 Fill the Trailer Toy Drive, a community initiative aimed at spreading holiday cheer to families in need. Many families in the Statesville community face financial hardship and are unable to provide the extras that make the holiday season special for their children. With your help, the SPD hopes to make a difference and bring joy to these families.

The official kick-off will take place at Pumpkinfest in Downtown Statesville on November 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop by the event and bring new, unwrapped toys or gifts for children and teenagers from birth to 17 years.
