Statesville FC, the community’s new National Premier Soccer League team, will hold its first open tryouts this weekend. Tryouts will begin Friday evening, continuing on Saturday morning and finishing up on Sunday afternoon. 

SVFC will be launching its first official fan march during this weekend’s Statesville Christmas Parade. In celebration of this historic moment, the club’s ownership group invites all residents of Statesville and the surrounding communities to head to Statesville High School’s stadium after the Statesville Christmas Parade on Sunday to watch a free match.

The game, which is scheduled to kick off at 5:30 p.m., will feature players trying out for a spot on the roster for the club’s Inaugural season in 2026.

SVFC will have official club merchandise on sale at the event.
