Special to IFN
Neighbors, advocates, and community partners will gather in Downtown Statesville on October 15 for a free Community Awareness & Resource Fair, reaffirming a shared commitment to stand with survivors of domestic violence always.
The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church green space, located at 315 W. Broad Street. It is open to the public and designed to connect individuals and families with local resources, education, and hope.
Domestic violence continues to impact families in every corner of Iredell County, often leaving survivors without clear paths to safety, stability, or support. This fair seeks to close those gaps by bringing together trusted organizations under one roof, or in this case, one green space.
The evening will feature:
♦ Trusted support services for survivors, veterans, and families.
♦ Local nonprofits offering guidance, healing, and pathways forward.
♦ Opportunities for learning, sharing, and mutual encouragement across the community.
Community members, nonprofits, and service providers are encouraged to attend. Those interested in sharing resources, offering partnership, or joining the fair are invited to contact the organizers directly at contact@ThePTSD.info.
