Iredell Health System has announced the hiring of Amy Teague as director of environmental services.

Teague previously served as assistant director of environmental services at Frye Regional Medical Center for eight years and is looking forward to joining the Iredell Health team.
“I chose Iredell Health System because I appreciate the close-knit community feel; everyone has been so welcoming and treats me like family,” said Teague. “I am excited about the opportunity to grow in my new role.”
She sees her position as a chance to make a positive impact.
“This position is a chance to further contribute to creating a safe and clean environment for our patients to heal. The staff here have been incredibly supportive, and I am looking forward to making a positive impact.”
Iredell Health leadership is excited to bring Teague on board.
“Amy’s expertise in facility management and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in supporting our mission to provide a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors,” said Larry Pizzorni, assistant vice president of Ancillary and Support Services.
Outside of work, Teague enjoys spending time with her husband of 24 years, her three children, and her granddaughter (with one more on the way). She is an avid outdoor enthusiast and loves to camp and spend time with her family in the mountains.
