The Town of Troutman is planning its 20th Annual Independence Day Parade for Saturday, June 28. The Independence Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. along Main Street/Highway 21.
The Grand Marshal of this year’s parade will be all Veterans and Active-Duty military service personnel in all branches of service. All veterans and servicemembers are invited to participate by riding in a float.
The parade will line up at the Iredell County Fairgrounds, located at 630 N. Main Street, Troutman. The parade will travel from the assembly area on N. Main Street south, ending near Troutman Elementary School at Cedar Lane and the American Legion.
Anyone interested in participating in the parade can apply by visiting the Town of Troutman website. Click on the Annual Town Events link, select the Independence Day Parade, and follow the online registration link.
Applications can also be picked up in person at the Troutman Parks and Recreation Facility, located at 334 North Avenue, Troutman. It is free to participate in the parade.

Fireworks Show
A fireworks presentation will occur on Wednesday, July 3 at the Iredell County Fairgrounds. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. The event will include live music and food trucks. Admission is free. Fireworks will take place at full dark, which is around 9:30 p.m.
