Mooresville Fire Rescue personnel, Mooresville Police officers and Iredell County EMS responded to a report of a structure collapse on Brawley School Road about 10:48 p.m. Friday. Arriving units found a car had struck a column outside the structure and crashed into the front of Mama’s Pizza Express.

The business was closed at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported. Crews from Mooresville Rescue 1 determined that the steel support beam was not damaged and the structure was sound. The MPD is investigating the cause of the crash.
