Special to IFN
The Town of Mooresville, in partnership with Biffle family and friends, invite the community to Downtown Mooresville for a special tribute honoring racing legend Greg Biffle. “Burnout for Biff” will take place on Friday, January 16, from 3 to 5 p.m. on Main Street.
The community is invited to gather in Downtown Mooresville to honor the life and legacy of Greg Biffle, a man who gave so much to motorsports and whose impact reached far beyond the track. This tribute celebrates Biffle’s extraordinary racing career and his lasting connection to Mooresville.
Biffle’s passion for racing was matched only by his generous heart. He lived with intensity, purpose, and a deep love for his family and community. As we remember Greg, Cleetus McFarland will perform a tribute burnout near his North Carolina Auto Racing Walk of Fame star, a meaningful farewell that reflects the spirit in which Biffle lived.
Guests are also invited to view a special collection of Greg Biffle racing memorabilia inside the Charles Mack Citizen Center, supported by the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame. In addition, the memorial will pay tribute to the philanthropic legacy of the Biffle family by highlighting the American Red Cross and Lake Norman Humane Society, two organizations that Greg, his wife Cristina, and their family cared deeply about and supported together.
This gathering is an opportunity to honor Biffle’s remarkable life while also recognizing the compassion and generosity that defined his family’s lasting impact on our community.
