This community-focused music series, the only one of its kind in North Carolina, is created with the purpose of bringing the community together to enjoy free musical performances from musicians from around the world.

The series is supported in part by the Levitt Family Foundation, a non-profit social impact funder dedicated to injecting new life into underused public spaces through providing grants to support free, outdoor concerts in communities across the country.

The Levitt AMP Statesville Music Series will present 11 free, family-friendly concerts to Statesville this spring and fall at The Levee, an outdoor venue located at the CAST Campus at 110 W. Allison Street in Statesville. The series will feature a diverse lineup of high-caliber talent spanning genres like pop, rock, soul, country, folk, EDM and more.

“Having the Levitt AMP Statesville Music Series here this year means more to us than just great concerts. It represents the heartbeat and rhythm of our community. It brings people together from every corner of Statesville to share in music, culture, and connection,” Donald Hicks, Statesville Housing Authority’s chief financial officer.

The public is invited to bring their lawn chairs and snacks (but please, no outside alcoholic beverages) to the concerts, which will have an open setting. Food and beverage trucks, restrooms, community resources and other activities will be available onsite.

In 2025, Iredell Statesville Community Enrichment Corporation, in partnership with City of Statesville, All American Stage, Sound & Lights, Beasley Media Group LLC, Insomniacs Inc. and Statesville Housing Authority, was named one of 65-plus nonprofits across the U.S. to receive a multi-year Levitt Music Series grant from the Levitt Family Foundation to present free outdoor concerts in 2026, 2027, and 2028.

With hundreds of applicants, Statesville was chosen to receive this grant in what is arguably a testament to the incredible power of partnership, the enthusiastic support of the community and the shared belief in how music and the arts can uplift a community. These events will do more than entertain; they will help shape the culture of our city, spark new relationship and remind us how meaningful shared experiences can be. Through this series, we’re excited to strengthen the “rhythm” of Statesville by providing free music and another reason to connect with each other.
