Cub Scout Pack #173 recently held its annual Pinewood Derby Race at Coddle Creek Elementary School. The Scouts raced the cars that they built from kits on a 32-foot inclined track.

♦ Best Looking Car: Easton Dortch
♦ Longest On The Track: Max Chaney

The top three finishers will advance to the county-level competition.

An exciting time after the Scout race was an “Almost Anything Goes Race” for older siblings and a “Younger Siblings Race.”
