Special to IFN

The Iredell County Public Library will host a series of four local history exhibits throughout 2026 as part of America 250, the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The first exhibit, Visions of Freedom, is now open to the public on the Main floor of the Statesville branch library.

Visions of Freedom focuses on highlighting local landmarks, Revolutionary era residents, and important social movements that not only shaped the nation, but the Iredell County community.

This free exhibit includes a blend of information, images, and engaging interactive activities designed to appeal to visitors of all ages.
