Iredell County Partnership for Young Children (ICPYC) recently received a $979.52 donation from JMS Southeast Inc. through the company’s employee-supported vending machine fundraising initiative.

Each month, JMS Southeast stocks its workplace vending machines with snacks and beverages, applies a 100 percent markup, and donates all proceeds to a local nonprofit organization serving the Iredell County community. This creative, employee-driven effort transforms everyday purchases into meaningful community impact.

“We are incredibly grateful to JMS Southeast and their employees for allowing us to be part of this unique fundraising initiative,” said Sydney Taylor, public awareness specialist for ICPYC. “Support like this allows us to lift children to better beginnings by providing services that strengthen and shape the first five years of life.”

The donation will directly support ICPYC’s work in advancing early childhood education, promoting child health and development, increasing early literacy, and engaging families in ways that prepare young children for lifelong success.

Community partnerships like this demonstrate how local businesses and their employees can make a tangible difference for children and families in Iredell County.

JMS Southeast, founded in 1980 and based in Statesville, designs and manufactures a complete line of high-quality standard and custom temperature sensors, including thermocouples, RTDs, thermowells, and temperature accessories.
