International touring theatre company Live History will bring a one-of-a-kind immersive experience to the Iredell County Public Library in Statesville on April 23-25.

Nominated for the Governor General’s Award for History and Community Theatre, Live History will present “A Timeless Gathering,” an immersive theatrical escape room experience.

“A Timeless Gathering” has escape room and theatre elements. Expect to work with all your fellow audience members and the actors as you try to discover the identity of your mysterious guest. For the majority of the performance, attendees will be seated around a table with fellow audience members and the actors. Clues will need to be solved between meal courses, so be sure to arrive with an empty stomach.

Each show lasts about 90 minutes. As an interactive experience, audience sizes are limited to 10 to 30 people so that everyone is able to participate should they wish.

♦ April 25: 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m.

The Library is located at 201 N. Tradd Street in Statesville.
