Detmetiros McBride has been named assistant vice president of the Iredell Physician Network, a part of Iredell Health System.

McBride has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership, including hospital and clinic settings and medical device and pharmaceutical industries. He earned his undergraduate degree in kinesiology from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho and his Master of Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, La.
“Detmetiros comes with a wealth of knowledge in both primary care and specialty clinics. His years of experience will help to continue pushing Iredell Physician Network to being a top decile network,” said Damon Hays, vice president of the Iredell Physician Network.
In his new role, McBride will be responsible for establishing objectives, planning, leadership, staffing and directing assigned departments and areas of responsibility across the Iredell Physician Network.

In his free time, McBride enjoys going to church, working out, watching sports and spending time with his family and friends, including his daughters Brooklyn and Jaden. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and Tipping the Scale mentoring program.
