Two suspects face felony charges after Mooresville police officers seized an assortment of narcotics and a firearm from a vehicle after responding a call for service on Alcove Road over the weekend.


The Mooresville Police Department announced the arrests of Adajeon Mehki Magazine-Izzard, 26, of Charlotte and Samantha Lee Manion, 27, of Los Angeles, Calif., in a news release.
MPD officers responded to a report of a possible fraud at 109 Alcove Road on Saturday.
Upon arriving, officers located a suspect, Magazine-Izzard, and Manion inside a parked car outside an adjacent business, police said.
The officers discovered that Magazine-Izzard had active warrants for his arrest. He was arrested on outstanding warrants.
During a search of vehicle, officers located 150 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 382 grams of marijuana, 25.6 grams of THC wax, 39 THC Pens, 23.5 grams of MDMA, 28.2 grams Adderall and a 9mm handgun, according to the news release.
Manion was arrested after the search of the vehicle.
Magazine-Izzard was charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled substance; three counts of felony possession of a schedule VI controlled substance; two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule I and schedule II substance; two counts of trafficking a schedule II controlled substance by possession and transportation; maintaining a vehicle for use or sale of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of firearm by felon; and carrying a concealed weapon.
Manion was charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled substance; three counts of felony possession of a schedule VI controlled substance; two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance; two counts of trafficking a schedule II controlled substance by possession and transportation; felony maintain vehicle; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Magazine-Izzard and Manion were transported to the Iredell County Detention Center, where Magazine-Izzard was ordered held without bond. Manion received a $350,000 secure bond.
