NC Works and The Christian Mission have partnered to host a free career fair on Tuesday, March 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 919 North Main Street in Mooresville. More than 30 employers will be on-site, representing healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, retail, and security — with many conducting on-the-spot interviews and considering candidates for immediate hire.

Admission is free, and all are welcome.

Confirmed employers include NGK Ceramics, The Budd Group, Iredell Health, Duke Health, Fifth Third Bank, Goodwill Stores, WTSA Security, Leggett and Platt, Husky Wire and Rack, Iredell Health and the US Postal Service, among others.

“This event eliminates traditional hiring barriers, creating immediate connections between motivated candidates and real job opportunities,” said Rochelle Dearman, program director at The Christian Mission. “We want our clients and the entire community to have access to quality employers who offer stable careers.”

“We encourage job seekers to come prepared and ready to make a strong impression,” added Jens Schmidt, NC Works Career Center leader. “Our team is available to help candidates with resume preparation and interview coaching ahead of the event.”

Attendees should bring multiple copies of their resume and dress professionally.
