Pharos Parenting, in partnership with the non-profit Give Yoga NC and the Statesville Recreation Center, will offer Mommy & Me Yoga, beginning next week.

This free beginner’s class is designed to promote self-care while bonding with your baby. It’s also a great way to meet other moms and get any motherhood questions answered during a “Coo & A” at the end.

This class is part of Pharos Parenting’s Best Beginnings program, which focuses on infant care and development in the first year for new and expecting parents.

The instructor, Lisa, is a 500 RYT yoga teacher with Give Yoga NC and new mom who is passionate about empowering others with self-care in motherhood. With four years of yoga teaching experience and over a decade of gymnastics coaching, she’s excited to offer Mommy & Me Yoga with Pharos Parenting, helping moms connect and find balance.

Mommy & Me Yoga will be held at the Statesville Recreation Center, located at 1875 Simonton Road in Statesville, at 1 p.m. on March 11, April 8, and May 13 with more dates to be announced soon.

This class is for new moms and their babies under one year old. While there is no cost to attend, an RSVP is encouraged. If you are interested in joining the next class, email Susan@pharosparenting.org.
