Fire Department recently conducted a live burn fire training at a donated property off Ashbrook Road. Personnel from Troutman, Monticello, Cool Springs, Stony Point, Statesville and Central fire departments all participated in the training. Crews were able to get multiple runs at different fires set throughout the structure. Once the structure was deemed unsafe, crews monitored the structure as it burned down. West Iredell Fire Department Chief Jerry Houston was in command of this training operation.
