A Harmony man faces multiple charges following a narcotics investigation conducted by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team.

Sheriff Darren Campbell announced the arrest of Clifford Dale Billings, 46, of East Memorial Highway, Harmony, in a news release Monday.
On Thursday, March 5, deputies assigned to the ACE Team began investigating suspected narcotics activity at a residence located at 380 East Memorial Highway in Harmony, Campbell said. The investigation was initiated after concerned community members noticed suspicious behavior and submitted anonymous tips through the ICSO mobile app.
During the investigation, deputies made contact with the homeowner, identified as Billings, and conducted a search of an outbuilding on the property, according to the news release. Deputies located approximately 10.5 grams of methamphetamine, 3.26 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and marijuana, the sheriff said.
Billings was arrest and transported to the Detention Center, where he was taken before Magistrate Nicholson and given a $5,000 secured bond on the following charges: Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for a Controlled Substance and three misdemeanor drug offenses.
