Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell announced Thursday the arrests of several suspects in connection with an investigation targeting methamphetamine distribution in southern Iredell County.
On March 30, ICSO detectives observed Parker Rafael Dejesus leaving a residence on Capital Avenue in Mooresville. Deputies assigned to the ACE Team then conducted a traffic stop and arrested Dejesus on outstanding warrants. Suspects Jason Cranfill and Melissa Cranfill were also in the vehicle.
During a search of the vehicle, ICSO personnel located and seized methamphetamine, Campbell said. That evidence led to the execution of a search warrant for a residence, where additional drugs, cash, and items associated with drug activity were located, according to the news release.
Information obtained during the investigation led detectives to a second location on Big Indian Loop, Campbell said. On April 2, detectives executed a search warrant at that residence and seized approximately 355.7 grams of methamphetamine, along with Buprenorphine, Adderall, cash, and a large amount of property, including power tools, lawn equipment, motorcycles, and a stolen 2023 KTM, according to the news release.
Joshua Tyler Smith, Kevin Kane, and Faith Davis were arrested and transported to the Iredell County Detention Center.
The total street value of the methamphetamine seized is estimated to exceed $35,000, Campbell said.
On April 8, as the investigation continued, Detective Graves obtained an additional charge against Smith for felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle in connection to the recovered KTM.
This investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are possible, the sheriff said.
