More than 40 downtown businesses have signed on to participate in Saturday’s Spring Art Crawl in Downtown Statesville, transforming shops, galleries, and storefronts into pop-up art spaces featuring local and regional artists.

The annual event, which runs from 2 to 6 p.m., is free and open to the public.

Visitors can stroll through downtown, meet artists, view their work, and enjoy the creativity that makes the community unique. Patrons will also have the opportunity, to purchase artwork directly from participating Art Crawl artists.

Several locations will feature live music throughout the afternoon, adding to the festive atmosphere as guests explore downtown.

Trolley stops throughout downtown will make it easy for guests to travel between participating locations and enjoy the event at a relaxed pace. In addition, several retailers and artists will host drawings for prizes, giving visitors extra opportunities to engage with the event while discovering new shops and artwork.

Participants are encouraged to walk the district, hop on the trolley, discover new shops, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of Downtown Statesville while celebrating the arts.
