The Statesville Woman’s Club is now taking orders for the Annual Geranium Sale that will be held on Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

These North Carolina grown geraniums will be available in Berry Parfait, Pink Parfait, Red, Salmon and White for $6 per plant or $38 for a flat. (There are eight plants per flat and mixed colors qualify). There will also be Hanging Baskets (Pink Parfait or Red) for $25 each. Some Geraniums may not be available the day of the sale.

Early ordering is encouraged in order to get color preferences.

Proceeds will support the Statesville Woman’s Club Capital Campaign, with a portion benefiting Foundation of Hope, a local nonprofit serving individuals experiencing homelessness, displacement, mental health challenges and life hardships. The organization provides outreach, food, clothing, resource navigation and relationship-based support to help people regain stability and hope.

Upcoming Meeting

The next club meeting will be held on Thursday, March 5, at the historic clubhouse located at 515 West End Avenue. There will be a short business meeting at 5:30 p.m. with Social Fellowship at 6:30 p.m. and New Member installation at 7 p.m. All members, guests and interested women are invited to attend.
