The Stony Point Volunteer Fire Department held its annual awards dinner for 2025 on Saturday, February 7, after postponing it for two weeks in a row due to the weather. All members of the department and auxiliary were thanked for their continued support and service to SPVFD and community.

Awards

Several members were recognized for their exceptional service by the chiefs, officers and their peers.

The 2025 First Responder of the Year Award was presented to Firefighter/Emergency Responder Autumn Norman (left), who is pictured with Chief Scotty Abernathy.
