Iredell Physician Network announced Monday the addition of Family Nurse Practitioner Christopher Upchurch to Family Care Center of Mooresville.

Upchurch brings nearly two decades of experience both as a trauma nurse and as a nurse practitioner. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cabarrus College and his Master of Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from East Carolina University. Patients can expect a patient-centered approach from Upchurch.

“I treat my patients as people and not a number,” said Upchurch. “I listen to hear rather than respond.”

In his free time, Upchurch enjoys spending time with his 14-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son as well as his wife of 17 years. He is involved in his church men’s group and loves to fish.
