
Adalberto Ramos, 79, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025. He was born on March 18, 1946, in Humacao, Puerto Rico, to the late Luis Ramos and Abadesa Viera Ramos.
Adalberto was a devout Christian and a man of deep principle. Known for his unwavering integrity and remarkable work ethic, he continually strove to give his very best in all that he did. His strong moral compass and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Adalberto was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Olga Sanchez Ramos of the home; his sons, Angel Ramos and Ivan Ramos (Elizabeth), both of Concord, Daniel Ramos of Statesville, and Alberto Ramos of New Jersey; his daughter, Rosemary Ramos of New York; his brothers, Jose Ramos and Victor Ramos, both of New Jersey; and his sister, Aida Sifre of Florida. He also leaves behind his 14 cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home in Statesville. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Milton Villalta officiating.
