Andrew “Andy” Patrick Williams, 45, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025. He was born to Stephen Tilford Williams and Patricia Brawley Williams on June 16, 1979.
Andy graduated from South Iredell High School and Central Piedmont Community College in Auto Repair. He worked with his father at Williams Car Care for years, then operated his own business Williams Automotive. He loved fishing, living on the lake and at the beach. He was a lifeguard at Cherry Grove Beach for many summers. Andy was a member of Fallstown Baptist Church, and he loved his Lord and Savior.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Christopher Williams, and the joys of his life, his niece, Ella; his nephew, Banks; and their mother, Stephanie Williams. He also is survived by his aunts and uncles, Beth (Paul) Webster, Johnny (Debbie) Brawley, and Lynn (Donna) Williams; cousins, Kristen (Justin) Brawley, Bethany (Jeremy) Webster, Trey (Jessica) Brawley, Sammy (Katheryn) Webster, Allen (Paula) Brawley, Carole (Scott) Barnette, Daniel and Ryan Williams; and his rescues, Carolina and Smokey.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Christine Brawley, and Leon and Dorothy Williams, and uncle, Barry Brawley.
A celebration of Andy’s life will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Heritage House of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville with Steve Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 7:30 p.m.
