With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Baby Bailey J. C. C. Steele, whose brief but treasured presence brought immeasurable joy to all who knew her. Born on October 22, 2024, in Forsyth County, N.C., Bailey graced this world with her light for six precious months before departing on May 4, 2025, in Catawba County, N.C., due to natural causes.
During her short time on earth, Bailey radiated a purity and innocence that touched the souls of those around her. Her gentle spirit and sweet smiles served as a reminder of the profound beauty and love that life can hold in its most delicate forms.
Bailey’s memory will forever be cherished by her loving parents, Ayonna N. Mognet-Richardson and Brendon G. Steele Jr.; her adoring grandmother, Constance Burns, and grandfather, Brendon G. Steele Sr., grandmother, Shamika Richardson, grandfather, David Mognet, great-grandmother, Jamie Richardson, great-grandfather, Christopher Burton, aunts and uncles, Vanity Steele, Christian Redmond, Harmoni Steele, Jayden Richardson, Alanna Richardson, Christopher Richardson, Shamia Gonzalez, Phoebe Richardson, Lukas Mognet, and Damina Mognet; sisters and brothers, Royalty Steele Foote, Serenity White, Amonia Steele, Brendon Steele III, and Ahriah McClelland; great grandparents, Christine and Rodney Foote; great grandparents, and Jamie Richardson and Christopher Burton. She is preceded in death by her brother, Brendon Gerard Steele llll.
Though her departure leaves a void, her family will continue to carry her in their hearts, finding solace in the love she brought during her brief but meaningful life.
Sweet Bailey, while your time with us was all too fleeting, the love you inspired and the joy you gave will endure. Rest peacefully, dear one, knowing you were loved beyond measure.
