Banks Lee Moose Jr., 50, of Troutman, N.C. passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Banks was born on October 23, 1974, in Indianapolis, Ind., to the late Banks and Shirley Moose.

Banks spent most of his time working as a mechanic, which he learned from his dad. In his free time, Banks loved fishing and playing jokes on his friends. He also cherished time with his kids.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Rodney, Robert, Tony, David, and Jerry.

Left to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Kaycee Powell of Troutman; a son, Dustin Moose of Statesville; two daughters, Aubree Knight of Statesville and Jupiter Cash of Troutman; and a grandson, Kaiden Moose of Statesville; along with numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be set for a later date and announced by the family.
