Betty Faye Reeves Wyatt, 89, of Statesville, N.C., passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Gordon Hospice House following an extended illness. Betty was born in Wilkes County on August 23, 1935, to the late Isaac Dewey Reeves and Merta Royal Reeves.

She attended Bright Light Baptist Church and Tabernacle Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie W Wyatt; one son, Alan Wyatt; three brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Jesse Wyatt, and wife Linda, Keith Wyatt and wife Hilda, and Tony Wyatt; one daughter, Kathy Manuel, and husband Johnny; two sisters, Rosa Warren and Minnie Queen; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Bright Light Baptist Church. Pastor Jayson Fox will officiate.
