Billy Franklin Little Sr., 84, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Billy was born July 14, 1940, in Iredell County, N.C., to the late Claude Franklin Little and Dema Goodman Little. He owned and operated Statesville Industry Sales Company for many years. He was a member of Troutman Baptist Church for over 60 years, and he served on many boards. He was a mason in Troutman. He was a great athlete at Troutman High School. He played softball for Howard Furniture. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandson.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brother, Harold T. Little, and sisters, Alma Sharpe, Ethel Hutchens, and Wilma Ford.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 65 years, Sybil Smith Little; daughter, Tina Little Dula; sons, Billy Franklin Little Jr. (Chris), and Robert Allen Little (Jodi); sisters, Christine Menster, Carol Lambert, and twin sister, Barbara Wiggins; grandchildren, Christopher Dula, Taylor Little, Zachary Little, Hunter Dula, Trent Little, Olivia Little, and Khloe Little; and great-grandson, Tucker Dula.

Funeral services for Billy will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 12, at Troutman Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Kramm officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m.
