Mrs. Blanche Mary Hamill Clark Parker, 92, entered her eternal rest with the Lord on December 5, 2025, embraced by the peace promised in Psalm 23. She was born on June 26, 1933, in Iredell County, N.C., to the late Eddie Hamilton and Jessie Phifer. She attended Iredell County Schools and later dedicated many years of service as a cafeteria worker for the Iredell-Statesville Schools System.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Jonathan Clark, and her second husband, Albert J. Parker. She was also preceded in death by children LaJune Hamilton, Gerald Hamilton, Mary Lois Lindsay, Beverly LaJune Clark, and Donald Calvin Clark; and by brothers and sisters Lucille Hamilton, Lillie Patterson, Eddie Mae Morrison, Juanita Gray, Edward Hamilton, and Daisy Ramseur.

Left to cherish the memory of her life are her sons, Ronald Clark (Tonia) of Statesville, Phillip Sylvester (Belinda) Hamilton of Concord, and Holdran Clark of Statesville; her daughter, Geraldine Lazenby of Statesville; sister Henrietta Gray; step-sister Cynthia (Jerry) Gillespie; and her grandchildren Phillip Hamilton Jr., Damien Hamilton, Shawn Hamilton, Teka (Derrick) Phyall, Tyris Lamont (Esabell) Lazenby, Tanya A. Lazenby, Thomas J. Hamilton, Bryant Keith (Felicia) Clark, Latrice R. (Broderick) Cleveland, Ronald M. (Tierny) Clark, Donald C. Clark, Cedric D. Clark, Shawn (Tina) Jackson, and Gerron Parker. She is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren; nieces Drucilla Morrison, Carla Freddy, Diawatha Patterson, Jerri Howell (Kevin), Laman Gray, Lajune Gray, and Lavonn Gray; nephews Wayne Morrison, Herbert Parker, Zack Parker, Thelma Parker, and Wayne Parker; special nephew Stanley Hamilton; and special cousins Dorothy Woodard and Gene Phiefer.

Mrs. Blanche Mary Hamill Parker will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and her unwavering love for her family. Her life was a testament to faith, perseverance, and the comforting truth of the Shepherd who led her beside still waters and restored her soul.

Celebration of Life services are being held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Third Creek Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. at the church, and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Steven Parker will be officiating, and Reverend Sterling Howard will deliver the eulogy.
