Bonnie Sue Patterson Causey, 69, of Statesville, N.C., peacefully entered her heavenly home on Friday, July 25, 2025, surrounded by love and grace.

Born on May 1, 1956, in Catawba, N.C., Bonnie was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Patterson and Kathleen Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her beloved brother, Todd Patterson.

Bonnie lived a life filled with compassion, devotion, and unwavering faith. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she poured her heart into caring for her family and those around her. She worked as a skilled seamstress at Patterson Trim Shop and later found great joy in serving others through home health care—offering rides, companionship, and kindness to those in need. Her selflessness touched many lives.

Her greatest devotion, however, was to her Lord and Savior. A faithful Christian, Bonnie was a dedicated member of Under His Wings Church in Statesville. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she lived each day as a reflection of God’s love.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband and love of her life, Bryant Darryl Causey; son, Bryant Edward Causey; daughters, Melanie (Troy) Anne Locklear and Wendy Beth Causey; five brothers; two sisters; 27 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren who will all miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life service will be held and announced at a later date.
