Brian Timothy Cummins, 67, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, August 29, 2025. He was born on January 27, 1958 in Kingston, N.Y., to Benjamin and Thelma (Gardeski) Cummins, both deceased.

His father moved the family to New Jersey when Brian was five years old, and in 2000 when he began raising his own family, they moved to Mooresville. He always said his greatest accomplishments are his children and he cherished their annual week at the beach and all their Disney trips. He loved playing golf, Friday night football, home projects and the Miami Dolphins. Brian will be remembered for his generosity and compassion, his ability to fix absolutely anything and his awesome sense of humor.

Most important to Brian was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Loribeth Cummins; his daughter Taylor Vinson and her husband Matt, his sons Chase Cummins and Dalton Cummins; sisters Jennifer DeSantis (Gerard) and Janine Cummins; and brother Bill Cummins (Maggy); sisters-in-law Carol Snyder (Jim) and Karen Zelus (Robert); brother-in-law Michael Wilczek; and nieces and nephews.

Brian had a long and successful career in the appliance repair industry. He worked the past 18 years for GE Appliances and prior to that for Maytag.

A visitation honoring Brian’s life will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.

Memorial donations can be made to S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House, 1325 Mecklenburg Hwy., Mooresville, NC 28115 or online at https://apps.hoic.org/donate-now.
