Mr. Bryant Keith Holmes, 66, of 223 Adams Street, Statesville, N.C., passed away at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem on July 24, 2025. He was born in Statesville on March 16, 1959, and was the son of the late Dewey T. Tucker and Daisy Ann Holmes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Katrina Ikard; a grandchild, Jacori Poston; and a sibling, Bay Jackson.

He attended the Iredell County Public Schools and had many trades. At one time he was employed by Thonet at a Machine Operator. He was a member of Trueway Apostolic Holiness Church, where he was a Deacon, Drum Player, Sunday School Teacher and attended Morning Service. He loved spending time with his family, and he also loved fishing.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life his children, Kasinda Corry, Shawn Grant, Brandy Ikard, Candice Ikard, Tameka Corry, Latoya Corry, Kamma Grant, Akia (Oliver) Wilder, Derrick Bailey, and Qua’Darius Bailey; twenty-two grandchildren, Mahogany Poston, Senteria Cory, Adrian Minor, Kristasia Holmes, Omarion Parker, Indiya Davidson, Manovemi Tucker, Mikal Cory, Nadya Ikard, Alonzasia Parker, Desmond Olds Jr., Kimora Poston, Klaniya Glaspy, Larod Chambers, Aaliyah Grant, Christopher Holmes, Jr., Amill Holmes, Shakia Grant, Ra’ziya Mauney, Alayah Bailey, Tanella Bailey, and Caiden Bailey; his great grandchildren, Amiri Burguss, Ryleigh Smith, Ky’oir Jordan, and Ky’Aire Minor; his siblings, Sharon Jackson, Amanda Jackson, Darenda Jackson, Charles Jackson, and Chrissy Jackson, all of Harrisburg, Pa., and Roland Tucker, Carla Tucker, and Tamisha Tucker, all of Statesville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
