Byron Keith Waggoner, 55, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025. Born to Melvin L. Waggoner and Rachel L. Jackson on September 16, 1969, Byron was a lifelong resident of Mooresville, N.C., where he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

In 1987, Byron married the love of his life, Lisa. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising two children, Rene’e (Wess) and Byron (Kathy), and later welcoming three cherished grandchildren, Gracelynn, Weston, and Ansley. His family was the center of his world.

Byron had a passion for rock and roll, the open road, and making others smile. Whether driving his semi-truck or cruising in his beloved 1966 Chevelle, he found joy in the journey. His sense of humor, warmth, and love for life touched all who knew him.

He will be remembered not only for the laughter he brought but for the love he gave so freely.
